Southern California Public Radio (SCPR) is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization that produces and acquires programming of community value and combines these programs into a nonprofit radio service of the highest quality for broadcast to the people of Southern California and the nation, including the production and broadcast of local, West Coast and Pacific Rim news and information programming.
SCPR operates KPCC 89.3 FM in Pasadena and KUOR 89.1 FM in Redlands pursuant to Public Service Operating Agreements with Pasadena City College and the University of Redlands, and is the licensee of KPCV 90.3 FM in Coachella. SCPR streams its program service worldwide on its website at www.scpr.org.
SCPR is a subsidiary of APMG, in that the Trustees on the Board of SCPR are appointed by the APMG Board upon recommendation of the SCPR Board. At least 75 percent of SCPR Trustees must be residents of Southern California.
